Black Romance Collection
As we enter the year 2026, I am reorganizing my work into three main categories. Look for another face lift for Storybook in the following months. But with the success of books one and two of the Black Romance Series ... I began to expand the playlist. Some might be crossovers into either the Science Fiction/Fantasy Division, and some into the LGBTQIA+ Division. But if they are love stories ... they will all find a home in here. Eventually. For now, the focus will be on the Black Romance Collection. After the holidays, I'll might pull out the others and adding any other love stories to the mix to make them easier to find.
I created a playlist for what I called the "2025 Holiday Black Romance Collection" with a growing catalog of potentials and their descriptions. I'm debating on adding that list to this page but I will put the link to the Collection playlist here for those that are curious about what is coming.

The Tensins
... it's all about family.
And the Tensins took care of their own. Whether you were born into the family, married into it, or just adopted.
There was a story here, but Damien Tensin wasn’t talking. Well, to anyone other than Amalda Jursen. And getting there with Amalda had been like pulling teeth. He was obviously well educated. He spoke well and had amazing manners. He had class and a quick mind. Not to mention a lot of pride. You could tell he wasn’t trash. And he was absolutely beautiful. So why was he living a life that he himself was ashamed of?
Amalda didn’t care. He was the kindest person she’d met in her entire life. And she wanted Damien.

And with her coming from a life of apparent privilege, Damien had thought that strange and dangerous for everyone involved. It had been an ongoing fight to get him to understand and believe that she didn’t care about the differences. When she’d found out the secret of why he was living the way he was, she joined his family in their mission to convince Damien to fight again. Now, how he lived only became an issue because he’d stepped in to defend her from her father’s constant tyranny.
And there were the haters. One of them wanted to know who Damien Tensin was and what his intensions were ... a false mistrust that revealed evil intent, and another just wanted him dead as he tried to rebuild his life and earn the love of the only person whose opinion really mattered to him ...

I Couldn't Help It
This is an LGBTQIA+ story, but it's also a love story as well as a story of overcoming. They both had pain in their pasts. One ... the memories of an abusive family, and one fighting the corporate world as well as his own nature...
Milo Trieste didn’t want to hear that they were from different worlds. They were both black, they were both men, and they were both gay. How much more similar could you get than that?

Jessie wanted to walk away because Milo had money and then he’s angry when Milo gets rid of most of it. The man needed to make up his mind because Jessie was the answer to every dream that Milo had ever had about family and love and he wasn’t interested in giving that up without a fight. They had enough things they had to fight in this world. He wanted them to fight together.
A myriad of similar life experiences had brought them together … hope for a better future kept them together.
